ABOUT YOUR GALLERY

Depending on the photoshoot, your gallery may be organized chronologically or divided into sets of recommended photographs and additional images.

From your gallery, you can:

  • Create Favorites Lists: Click the heart icon to save images, name your list, add notes, and share it.

  • Download High-Resolution Images

  • Share Images on Social Media

  • Order Prints, Framed Artwork, and Cards


Viewing Tips

  • Start with the Selects Gallery before viewing the Extended Collection for a less overwhelming experience.

  • Use a monitor for the best viewing experience — the larger, the better.

  • Create separate Favorites Lists for different purposes, such as For Me, Gifts, Album, or Cards.

ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS


Photographs are presented in the color or black-and-white treatment I recommend, with a mix of traditional editing and occasional film-inspired or creative effects. Most receive light editing, with subtle retouching when appropriate.

Dana’s Selects
My recommended favorites, edited to near-final or final quality and ready to enjoy and share.

Extended Collection
The broader collection, typically organized by portions of the event or session. These photographs receive light editing.

How Selects Are Chosen

I choose the strongest images from each scenario based on quality, energy, emotion, and variety. Some variations may be included, such as color and black-and-white versions or different expressions. Occasionally, I include a less flattering expression if it captures a meaningful or characteristic moment.

When applicable, I also curate print-worthy images from the Selects. Final selections for albums and prints are a collaborative process.

Custom Editing & Print Options

Photographs ordered as prints or included in albums receive additional adjustments as appropriate, including color correction, cropping, and retouching. Special requests may incur additional fees. Final edits depend on how the photograph will be used, its size, and the paper surface.

All images can be printed in color or black and white, regardless of how they appear in your gallery. For specific editing requests, add a note to the photograph in your Favorites List.


SHARING YOUR GALLERY

Share the link to your page on danasiles.com rather than the direct gallery link. Your page provides access to your galleries and is less likely to change or expire.

When sharing on social media, photo credit is appreciated. Please tag @danasiles on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. Thank you!

ONLINE GALLERY AVAILABILITY & PRIVACY

Your page on danasiles.com is permanent, and future galleries can be added to the same page. If you’d like to change your page URL, let me know before sharing it.

Individual galleries are typically available for up to one year from publication unless otherwise agreed upon. Extensions are $50 per year; custom rates apply to requests for three or more years.

Galleries do not require a passcode by default. Let me know if you prefer to restrict access.

PLACING AN ORDER

There is no minimum order requirement.

  • Order directly: Browse the available products and order through the online store.

  • Ask for guidance: Create a Favorites List and email me when your selections are ready. I’ll review them and offer suggestions if helpful.

NEXT STEPS

Selecting Photos for Albums

  • For easier viewing, use a desktop. Ideally, open Dana’s Selects and the Extended Collection set(s) on separate monitors.

  • Create a Favorites List titled Album or Parents Album. Aim for approximately 75–150 photographs.

  • Complete the Album Planning Form and pay a 50% deposit.

  • I’ll create your album plan within 2–4 weeks. Production typically takes 2–5 months, usually 3–4 months. The balance is due before shipping.

Save-the-Date, Thank-You & Holiday Cards

  • From All Photos, open Print Store > Holiday Cards + Bulk Prints.

  • Create a Favorites List titled Cards.

  • Visit Minted.com, recommended for its quality, and choose up to three designs.

  • Email me:

    • The designs you like

    • Your card wording for the front, inside, and back

    • An update to your Cards Favorites List


I’ll design your card and send a proof, with up to three rounds of revisions. All cards and envelopes are proofed before shipping.

Tip: You can also order loose prints to insert into your own cards.
