Booking & Payment

Full payment is required to reserve Dana Siles Photographer (the "Instructor") for the lesson (the "Lesson"). If payment is not received on time, the Instructor may cancel or reschedule the Lesson.

Lessons may be rescheduled with reasonable advance notice. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the Lesson may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the Lesson value. Missed lessons and cancellations within 24 hours are forfeited and are not eligible for a refund unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Services & Deliverables

If the Instructor is unable to conduct the Lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, all payments received for the affected Lesson will be refunded.

The Client acknowledges that photography is both a technical and creative discipline. Educational outcomes vary based on individual effort, experience, equipment, and practice. No specific artistic, professional, financial, or business results are guaranteed.

The Instructor will use all reasonable efforts to provide educational services in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Instructor harmless from any third-party claims arising from the Client’s use of lesson materials, instruction, or educational services.

Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, presentations, demonstrations, photographs, videos, written content, worksheets, recordings, and other instructional resources remain the exclusive property of Dana Siles Photographer and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal educational purposes only. Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, published, recorded, photographed, screen captured, live-streamed, downloaded, archived, taught, sold, licensed, incorporated into commercial training, or otherwise used without the Instructor's prior written consent.

AI Usage Restriction

Lesson materials and instructional content may not be uploaded, submitted, licensed, or otherwise provided to any artificial intelligence (AI) system, machine learning platform, or similar or successor technology, whether now known or later developed, for training, dataset inclusion, model development, stylistic replication, content generation, or the creation of derivative works without the Instructor's prior written consent.

Additional Terms

• The Instructor may photograph or otherwise create images during the Lesson and may use those images for portfolio, editorial, exhibition, website, social media, advertising, and other promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Failure to perform or delays caused by circumstances beyond the Instructor's reasonable control shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement. In such cases, the Instructor's liability shall be limited to the return of payments received or, if mutually agreed, a rescheduled Lesson.

• The Client is responsible for providing any equipment, software, internet access, or other resources necessary to participate in the Lesson unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Travel beyond 60 miles of Providence, RI may require accommodations and/or a mileage fee of $1 per mile.

• Rhode Island Sales Tax (7%) applies to all purchases. Payment is accepted via personal or business check, PayPal (4% processing fee), or wire transfer ($15 fee). Returned checks incur a $25 fee.

• Prices remain valid for six months from the booking date. After six months, pricing is subject to change.

Governing Law & Venue

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Any dispute arising under or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
